The Glocal Classroom
The Glocal Classroom aims to share and develop the use of web-based pedagogy at a global scale.
Through a collaboration between Malmö University (Sweden), Flinders University (Australia), Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and University of Guelph (Canada), four universities will work together to establish a global platform for discussions on the pedagogical use of ICTs in teaching and learning.
Experiences will be shared through four seminars, one at each of the universities, providing real life cases for pedagogical discussions.
Behind the project stands Ørecomm members Oscar Hemer and Mikael Rundberg, who have more than ten years experience of mediating campus based seminars at the Communication for Development master programme at Malmö University.
The project is funded by Malmö University and STINT (the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education) and will run from 2013 to 2015.
