I am a media researcher at School of Arts and Communication, Malmö University. I hold a PhD in Media- and communication studies and currently function as Senior Lecturer in Media- and Communication Studies and Visual Communication.
My main interests concern the ways in which the use of ICT in the MENA region can be related to social and political change, with a particular focus on the Arab spring revolutions in 2011 up until today. Present research involves articles and a book on the subject in progress.
I am also a regular contributor to the Master programme in Communication for Development at Malmö University.
Contact me for further dialogue or information about my research.
