I do research on something I call ”design in action”, i.e. on how participatory acts of social innovation generate alternate realities with a view to ‘rehearsing the future’. My research manifests as participatory acts in cultures of governance, namely, in the freedom of information movement in India and in the circular economy of food waste in Sweden. In my dissertation (forthcoming) I draw from post-structuralist feminism to generate narratives and projects of alternative cultural practices.
