FELAFACS conference, Havana, October 2009

FELAFACS is the Federation of Latin American Faculties of Communication. Every third year FELAFACS organises a conference in one of its member states, next time will be 19-22 October 2009 in Havana, Cuba.

The XIII Encuentro de FELAFACS will cover themes relevant to some Ørecomm participants and friends, with a thematic umbrella which might be summarised: university, communication studies, and the knowledge society.

Among the confirmed key note speakers are Jesús Martín-Barbero (Colombia), José Joaquín Brunner (Chile), and Octavio Islas (México).
