Blog: Rossana Reguillo: Diario de la Epidemia
It is difficult to estimate what is most contagious: the “Mexican swine flu” AH1N1, or the associated media pan(dem)ic. Many are now discussing this theme; one of the most interesting voices comes from Rossana Reguillo. She is professor and researcher at the Department of Sociocultural Studies at ITESO, Guadalajara, Mexico – very close to where it all started.
Rossana Reguillo publishes her reflections on a blog Diario de la Epidemia (in Spanish). Reading this is a good preparation to meeting Rossana at the upcoming Latin America Research conference at Roskilde University (3-4 June 2009), where she will be among the main speakers.
