BBC World Service Trust is recruiting a research manager in Dhaka, on a one-year fixed term contract. Closing date: 20 April 2010:

We are looking for a talented Research Manager to conduct innovative cross-cultural media and development research to support a DFID funded project, called English-in-Action which is designed to make English language learning accessible to millions of people in Bangladesh. It includes a television drama shot in Bangladesh and the UK, discussion programmes linking the two countries, and innovative learning products on television, mobile phones and the internet. The project is expected to have impact among the Bangladeshi Diaspora and media industry professionals worldwide.
