Performing the World 2010

The conference “Can Performance Change the World?” takes place 30 September to 3 October 2010 in New York. Performing artists, community organizers, theatre workers, educators, scholars, youth workers, students, social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, medical doctors, health workers, and business executives are coming from 31 countries to discuss/perform that question and their responses to it. Among the nearly 100 presentations, workshops and performances that will be featured at this year’s Performing the World are some theatre related sessions and presentations dealing with performance, health and wellness.
