Questionnaire: Sharing Knowledge on Communication for Rural Development
The 11th UN Roundtable on Communication for Development (ComDev) recommended to strengthen capacities in the use of communication methods and tools in developing countries. In this framework, and in recognition of the key role played by ComDev to face new challenges to rural development such as climate change and food security, the FAO Communication for Development team – Research and Extension Branch, OEKR – has launched the “Collaborative Change Communication” (CCC).
CCC would greatly appreciate any input based on the experiences of development and communication practitioners in the field. As a preliminary activity to inform the content development of the training modules, the present survey has been designed to identify major learning needs in ComDev among development and communication practitioners whose work especially focuses on rural development issues, natural resource management, climate change adaptation, and food security. It includes three sections: (1) respondent profile, (2) knowledge, practice and learning needs in ComDev, and (3) preferred learning modalities. If you are interested in helping, participants are kindly requested to fill up the form, based on personal experience or on behalf of their organization/unit, and submit it.
