For students: Project proposal from UNDP
UNDP (Nordic office) invites students to study the future of social media – and to develop a social media strategy for UNDP, one of the main global actors in development.
The UNDP office in Copenhagen is looking for a project group or a group of students to investigate how UNDP could use social media in its external communication. The content of UNDP messages is quite complex and it is a big challenge to communicate this content to a broad spectrum of recipients through media like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
Being an organisation in the UN family, UNDP needs to find a balance between the organisation’s mandate and these new media, and to ensure that the content remains factual and correct while also permitting creativity.
This project will contribute to the overall communication strategy of UNDP, aiming to increase the general knowledge of the work of UNDP.
