Round table on C4D, Quito, Ecuador
A round table on 24 February 2011 in Quito analysed the current state of communication for development in Ecuador and identified strategies for a better positioning of communication practices in national development policies, programmes and projects. The event took place following the recommendations of the 11th United Nations Inter-Agency Round Table on Communication for Development (Washington D.C, 2009). More info on this event on the UNESCO website here.
The round table was one in a series, with background material partly based on the IPDC tool “Media Development Indicators: a framework for assessing media development” (2008), which can be downloaded here (in English; other languages here).
