Conference: News, Technology and Audiences:
UC Berkeley, 17-18 March 2011

The two-day Crossing Boundaries Conference on International News, Technology and Audiences will take place on the UC Berkeley campus on Thursday, March 17 through Friday, March 18. This event will host a broad range of academics, journalists and industry people and will focus on some of the emergent, boundary‐crossing collections of news, technologies and audiences. On March 17, attendees will participate in a series of workshops on papers submitted prior to the conference. On March 18, participants will hear prominent speakers give their take on recent events and the direction of news media through talks and panel discussions. Among the speakers is Ørecomm co-director Thomas Tufte.
