CfP: Cuadernos de Información y Comunicación

The C.I.C – Cuadernos de Información y Comunicación is looking for contributions to its upcoming thematic issue on communication for development. See the full call – in Spanish – for further details.

The C.I.C. journal is published by the Department of Journalism at Universidad Complutense, Madrid.

Among subjects of interest are:

• Terminological discussions on: communication for development, humanitarian communication, communication and social change, etc.
• The inclusion of a communication dimension in international aid.
• The communication dimension in the struggle for the Millenium Development Goals, notably poverty reduction.
• Models of communication cooperation in crisis contexts.
• Communication, development and new technologies. The creation of global communities.
• Communication politics: access and participation.

Deadline for abstracts is 12 December 2011 and complete articles are due 29 February 2012 – in Spanish.
