Internet and new media have given new impetus for the reinvention of civic activism and hence reshaped many political processes in various contexts and settings. In Indonesia, one of the world’s biggest social media users, the challenge is not about how the technology is used or adopted, but about the ways in which it could be accessed and used to influence political dynamics.
