The Brazilian-Danish Media, Citizen, and Government Relations network is … at work. Following its first workshop in September, during the Ørecomm Festival 2012 in Malmö, a  further meeting was held on 22 November at the Universidade Federal de Sergipe, on the theme “Communication and Citizenship”. Ørecomm participants Thomas Tufte and Norbert Wildermuth (above left) contributed with presentations. Among the Brazilian presenters were Cesar Bolaño and Nilda Jacks (below).

These speakers – and many more – will also be present at the seminar on Communication, Democracy and Development to be held on 30 November at the “Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana” in Porto Alegre – some 3.000 kms further south.

Thomas Tufte and Norbert Wildermuth will make further presentations in São Paulo on 5 and 12 December 2012.
