PhD defence: Jacob Thorsen

Our Ørecomm colleague Jacob Thorsen will defend his PhD thesis “Mediating Transistions – Local Radio and the Negotiations of Citizenship in Rural Nepal”, on 24 April 2013, at 13-16 hrs.

The defence takes place in the Small Auditorium, INCUBA Science Park, Aabogade 3, Building 5510, 8200 Aarhus N.

The assessment commitee consists of Per Jauert (Aarhus University), Michael Joseph Wilmore (University of Adelaide), and Karin Gwinn Wilkins (University of Texas at Austin).

The defence will be followed by a reception in ‘Frokoststuen’ in the nearby Nygaard Building.
