CAMECO Resource Centre: New Publications

Cameco is a resource centre with focus on media and communications in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The centre holds more than 10,000 print and online publications, and there is much information to be explored for anyone with an interest in Development Communication.

A list with new publications is published twice a year and the most recent list is available here.

The list encloses as many as 280 publications and includes Speaking Up and Talking Back? Media Empowerment and Civic Engagement among East and Southern African youth, edited by Ørecomm participants Thomas Tufte, Norbert Wildermuth, Anne Sofie Hansen-Skovmoes, and Winnie Mitullah, and published last year by Nordicom.

Training materials, case studies and evaluation reports often originate from developing countries, and a substantial part of the material is published in Spanish, German, French and Portuguese.
