CfP: Global Fusion 2012:
A Global Media and Communication Conference

Global Fusion 2012 is hosted by the School of Media Arts & Studies, Ohio University, Athens, Ohio and takes place 26-28 October 2012.

We invite original, non-published research submissions on any aspect of global media and international aspects of mass communication. Any theoretical and methodological approaches appropriate to communication research are acceptable and encouraged. In order to open panels to the widest possible range of topics, we have specifically chosen to adopt no conference theme.

Also, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ohio University’s Communication and Development Studies master’s program, a pre-conference will be held throughout the day on Friday, October 26th. Papers, panels, and related proposals focusing on the theme of development communication (i.e., communication for development, C4D, media for social change, etc.) are welcome for that event as well.
