Seminar at Roskilde: Stephen Duncombe:
“The Art of Protest”

Dr Stephen Duncombe (New York University, USA) will lead a seminar on “The Art of Protest: Occupy Wall Street as an Aesthetic Practice” – at the Department of Society and Globalisation, Roskilde University, at 10 am, 23 January 2013, in lecture room 25.3.

Stephen Duncombe is a life-long political activist, co-founding a community based advocacy group in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and working as an organizer for the NYC chapter of the international direct action group, Reclaim the Streets. He is presently co-director of the Center for Artistic Activism, and is currently a Senior Research Fellow of Theatrum Mundi, an international consortium of artists, designers and scholars.
